What Exactly Can You Expect During Your First Visit?
Never been to see a Chiropodist before? We have you covered! Sometimes when it comes to our feet, we can be embarrassed about what is causing problems. Whether it be bacterial infections, an ingrown toenail or something you’re not even sure about, we’re here to answer your questions with no judgement!
At Footprint we take pride in making every single one of our patients feel safe and listened to when coming in for an appointment. For what to expect during your initial consultation, keep reading!
When you first arrive, you’ll be greeted by our lovely receptionist who will check you in for your appointment, ask for any missing information and if you have any insurance we could potentially direct bill or process for you. Next you will be asked to take a seat in our waiting room or brought directly into a treatment room where you will be greeted by one of our two wonderful Chiropodists, Brittney or Kelly.
During your appointment, our Chiropodists will go over your health history with you and talk to you about your main concerns and goals for your foot health. From there, your Chiropodist will discuss treatments, diagnosis and curate a plan of care specifically for your feet. Usually in the initial consultation, treatment will also be provided if deemed treatable in your first visit.
Once the appointment is complete, your Chiropodist will suggest when and if you will need a follow up. If so, you can book with our receptionist on your way out or online at your convenience!
