Can My Child Benefit From Seeing A Chiropodist?

The Simple Answer? YES! Keep Reading To Find Out Why

We get a lot of questions about how young is too young to bring your little ones in to see a Chiropodist. The simple answer is, no one is too young to have a visit with a Chiropodist.

Often times, we get many children from ages 0-12 for things such as ingrown toenails, corns, warts or for a proper gait analysis to make sure they don’t have any leg length discrepancies, in-toeing, out-toeing, etc.

Warts are probably the majority of many children’s visit to the Chiropodist as they are extremely contagious and can be contracted as easily as walking on the same floor barefoot!

Ingrown toenails can also be very problematic for children and even more so for a child who can’t quite communicate what’s going on. That is why a Chiropody visit is never a bad idea so they can dive a little deeper into the problem with their wealth of knowledge.

If you notice your little love in some pain or discomfort because of their feet, don’t hesitate to contact us and ask us if they could further benefit from a visit to your local Chiropodist!
